Become a home workout whizz!
The pandemic has completely changed how we live, especially when it comes to working out. If you’re in Lockdown like us here in the UK or you’ve got other restrictions in place, you’ll know how difficult it currently is to get in a good workout routine. For those who can’t head to the gym for whatever reason, we’ve decided to bring the gym to you!
At the start of each month, we’ll be helping you achieve your workout goals with a new exercise regime made for the comfort of your own home. Let’s all become a home workout whizz!
This month, we’re focusing on HIIT ?
If you don’t know what HIIT is, it’s where you perform short bursts of high-intensity movements followed by small recovery periods. Each exercise should be repeated 3 times and should last between 45-60 seconds with a recovery period of 20-30 seconds. Aim to use at least 80% effort – so really try hard! Remember to always warm-up and stretch it out before you begin any exercises.
Let’s go!
High knees
Walk downs
Push-ups
Side lunge with jumping squat
Plank twists
Burpees
Flutter kicks
Jump squat
Mountain climbers
Russian twists
Keep up with this routine for all of March and let us know how you do! What should April’s regime be??
